Product Summary
The HSP43216JC-52 Halfband Filter addresses a wide variety ofapplications by combining fS/4 (fS = sample frequency)quadrature up/down convert circuitry with a fixed coefficienthalfband filter processor as shown in the block diagram. The HSP43216JC-52 processes data streams with word widths upto 16 bits and data rates up to 52 MSPS. The processingthroughput of the part is easily doubled to rates of up to 104MSPS by using the part together with an external multiplexeror demultiplexer. Programmable rounding is provided tosupport output precisions from 8 bits to 16 bits. Applications are (1)Digital Down Conversion; (2)D/A and A/D pre/post Filtering; (3)Tuning Bandwidth Expansion for HSP45116 and HSP45106.
