Product Summary

The k2200g is a silicon bilateral voltage triggered switch with greater power-handling capabilities than standard diacs. Uponpplication of a voltage exceeding the Sidac breakover voltage point, the k2200g on through a negative resistance regionto a low on-state voltage. Conduction will continue until the current is interrupted or drops below the minimum holding current of the k2200g. Applications of the k2200g include: High voltage lamp ignitors, Natural gas ignitors, Gas oil ignitors, High voltage power supplies, Xenon ignitors, Xenon ignitors, Pulse generators, Pulse generators and HID lighting ignitors.
