The Si3018-F-FS is a programmable voice DAA. THE Si3018-F-FS provides a highly-programmable and globally-compliant foreign exchange office (FXO) analog interface. The solution implements silicon laboratories patented isolation capacitor technology, which eliminates the need for costly isolation transformers, relays, or opto-isolators, while providing superior surge immunity for robust field performance. The Si3018-F-FS is available as a chipset, a system-side device paired with a line-side device. The Si3018-F-FS is available in a 16-pin SOIC and requires minimal external components. Applications are (1)DSL IADs; (2)VoIP gateways; (3)PBX and IP-PBX systems; (4)Voice mail systems; (5)DECT base stations.
