The TMS9901ANL is a programmable system interface. The TMS9901ANL to the CPU through the communications register unit (CRU) and the interrupt control lines as shown in figure 2. The interrupt section of the TMS9901ANL prioritizes and encodes the highest priority active interrupt into the proper code to present to the CPU, and outputs this code on the ICO-IC3 code lines along with an active INTREQ.
