The N80C196MC features an enhanced three-phase waveformgenerator specifically designed for use in inverter motor-control applications. This peripheral provides pulsewidthmodulation and three-phase sine wave generation with minimal CPU intervention. The N80C196MC generates threecomplementary non-overlapping PWM pulses with resolutions of 0.125μs (edge triggered) or 0.250μs(centered).
